Step Twelve: Galaga Pinouts and Dip Switch Settings
Galaga Dip Switches
There are two sets of DIP switches on the Galaga CPU board. They are labeled
6J and 6K (6K is on top).
6J is used for setting the difficulty of Galaga. Switch 7 is not used on 6J, the rest are as follows:
Switch #1 is used for selecting the type of 1 or 2 player games:
When this switch is OFF:
1 Player Game: Press the 1 player start button.
%w, 3, 4, or 5 fighters.
2 Player Game: Press the 2 player start button.
2, 3, 4, or 5 fighters EACH.
When switch #1 is ON:
1 Player Game: Press the 1 player start button.
2, 3, 4, or 5 fighters.
1 Player Game: Press the TWO PLAYER start button
for a ONE PLAYER game with 5, 7, 9, or 11 fighters.
